Step two. Get involved.

Pray and fast.

Pray and fast for the renewal of Catholic education. Pray for good teachers to rise up. Pray for all those who lead Catholic schools to be wise and faithful to the teachings and tradition of the Church. Pray for those who we teach to have eyes to see and ears to hear the Gospel.
Talk about it.

Gather like-minded friends and begin talking about some of the ideas you have learned here. Pursuing Catholic education at home or within a school cannot be done alone. You could start a book club with your group or within your parish.
Restore it.

Perhaps your parish already has a school, but it needs some tender love and care to restore it to an authentic Catholic mission. Reach out to your pastor to talk about a renewal. Reach out to get connected to Catholic schools that have transitioned to a classic approach.
Do it yourself.

If you are thinking about homeschooling your children in the Faith, go for it! You CAN do it! You don’t need to have a degree in education to raise your children and teach them what is true, good, and beautiful. Look for local co-ops and reach out here for help with getting connected to Catholic homeschooling options.
Build it.

With conviction, a fellowship of like-minded people, and God’s provision, you can help your pastor start a Catholic school or you can start an independent Catholic school. Reach out to get connected to some amazing leaders that can help you through this process.
Teach it.

If you have a passion for forming the hearts and minds of young people in truth, and you love to learn, teaching may be a good fit for you! Reach out to get connected to good Catholic teaching programs and schools. Authentic Catholic schools are ALWAYS looking for faithful, liberally educated teachers!
