These are the organizations leading the renewal of Catholic education.

St. John Henry Newman Institute

The solid formation of Catholic schools and the students who attend them is far too important a mission, especially in the confused world in which we live today, to leave to chance. The St. John Henry Newman Institute works with communities like your own to launch traditional, innovative and effective strategies based on a classical worldview and animated by reverent liturgy to transform schools, parishes, families and lives.

The Institute for Catholic Liberal Education

Renewing K-12 Catholic schools by reclaiming the Church’s educational tradition for growth in faith, wisdom, and virtue.

Regina Caeli

Cooperating in the order of grace and subordinating all things to the principle of Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam (“to the Greater Glory of God”) through the Heart of Jesus, the Mission of REGINA CAELI™ is realized through the intimate and focused medium of a small center environment and highly dedicated faculty and staff to form classically educated young men and women according to the unbroken tradition and teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, the Ignatian Principles of Education, and the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius with the purpose that each student will:

  • Achieve salvation

  • Deepen in intellect and character

  • Grow spiritually

  • Develop the ability to win others for Christ

  • Perceive and elect his or her God-given vocation

This will be accomplished by developing the whole person in all of his or her capacities through:

  • Special emphasis on excellent standards

  • Discipline

  • Memory work

  • Oral presentation

  • Reception of the Sacraments

  • Daily application of the Golden Rule

  • Exercise of the virtues of hospitality, service, graciousness, courtesy, and good manners

Saint Ambrose Center for Catholic Liberal Education and Culture

The St. Ambrose Center for Catholic Liberal Education and Culture exists to extend the University of Dallas’ core mission—that the pursuit of wisdom, of truth, and of virtue are the proper and primary ends of education—to the world at large. Through its various initiatives, the St. Ambrose Center aims to assist all we encounter, from K-12 students, parents, teachers, and administrators to alumni and friends of the University, in their pursuit of the moral and intellectual virtues, to enkindle and foster a desire to live out these virtues in their daily lives, and to encourage them to pursue their own good as well as the good of their families, communities, country, and church.

The Cardinal Newman Society

Founded in 1993, the mission of The Cardinal Newman Society is to promote and defend faithful Catholic education. We serve the needs of Catholic families and educators by:

  • advocating and supporting fidelity to the teaching of the Catholic Church across all levels and methods of Catholic education;

  • identifying and promoting clear standards of Catholic identity and best practices in Catholic education; and

  • recognizing exemplary Catholic educators and institutions committed to truth and the integral formation of their students.

Chesterton Schools Network

Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II, we take as our motto Cultura Vitae, the culture of life. We make it our mission to prepare our students to triumph over the materialism and despair that pervade our culture and to accept our Lord's offer to have life and have it abundantly. Our classical curriculum combines a broad, liberal arts education with a strong emphasis on the development of Christian virtues and an appreciation of beauty.

The Catholic School Playbook

Catholic School Playbook documents what thriving schools are doing differently to cultivate strong communities of students, families, and educators.

Catholic Education Partners

Catholic Education Partners (CEP) believes parental empowerment over their children’s education opportunities will allow more families to benefit from Catholic education, allay the Catholic school-funding crisis, protect the religious integrity and autonomy of parochial schools, and ultimately serve the Common Good.

CEP’s purpose is to partner with state Catholic conferences, Bishops and other clergy, Catholic school leaders and families, and other stakeholders to advance state policies that allow more families to access Catholic education, while protecting the autonomy and integrity of Catholic schools.

The Classic Learning Test

CLT exists to reconnect knowledge and virtue by providing meaningful assessments and connections to seekers of truth, goodness, and beauty.
