The Hope in

Being a Wayfarer

Wayfaring is a dangerous endeavor, no doubt, but it is the only way for us all. We are made for a distant land beyond the horizon and reaching the end of our journey is certainly not certain at all. Many who refuse to even step foot on the road laud that certainty is the belief that it is better to be doubtful if doubt renders a false sense of control, comfort, and safety. The irony is found in the fact that true hope provides the surest source of certainty for the wayfarer, but it does not promise comfort or control. In fact, it promises danger and adventure, which make a much greater story.
